All the received applications, complaints and other documents are being registered and reviewed. The document handling within LDz complies with the Law on Legal Force of Documents, Electronic Documents Law and other LDz binding legal acts. According to the Law on Legal Force of Documents LDz reviews the documents, which contain the author of the document, the date of the document and the signature.
The reply to the received document is prepared within one month unless LDz binding legal acts set a shorter term. For exceptional cases, if it is necessary to do certain procedures, collect additional information or make research to prepare an answer, a reply is sent within two months upon informing the author of the document about it in writing.
LDz Customer service center is available 24/7 by phone (free of charge) 8002 1181 and e-mail uzzinas@ldz.lv. The Call Centre provides information on railway services, including domestic and international passenger train traffic and other related issues, as well as receives complaints and suggestions about services provided by LDz.
