On 6 October 2010 Armīns Kronbergs was elected a Member of Board of State Joint Stock Company Latvijas dzelzceļš.
A.Kronbergs has long experience in transit business and logistics, as well as in port management which is very important for enhancing competitiveness of transit corridors and development of freight transport in Latvia.
Latvijas dzelzceļš Group consists of the holding company SJSC Latvijas dzelzceļš and four daughter companies – freight operator LDz Cargo Ltd., infrastructure construction and maintenance company LDz infrastruktūra Ltd., rolling stock repair and maintenance company LDz ritošā sastāva serviss Ltd., and security company LDz Apsardze Ltd.
