On 20-26 February 2008 in Paris there took place the 16th International Festival Train&Metro on Film CinéRail in which participated the representatives from more than 20 countries. There were shown 6 full-length films, 39 short films and 9 documentaries.
SJSC Latvijas dzelzceļš in the corporative and advertising film show of the companies participated with three advertising films about Information Office 1181 (they can be watched here [1]), which had been produced in cooperation with a film studio Animācijas brigāde.
In a competition of 39 films LDz got the highest award by the jury - CinéRail D`or de la Publicité.
LDz animated short films were also awarded with a special prize by the festival international jury.
