Five companies that were declared as the biggest payers of taxes in the state transferred to state budget 247,8 mln. Ls in 2005, which is 9,3 % of total sum of paid taxes. State Revenue Service (SRS) declared the biggest taxpayers to state budget in 2005 are Latvija Statoil Ltd (Statoil), Mazeiku Nafta Tirdzniecibas Nams Ltd, Lattelecom Ltd, JSC Latvenergo and State JSC Latvian Railway (LDz).
SRS informs that ten biggest payers of taxes transferred to the state budget in 2005 347,7 mln. Ls, which is 13,1 % of total sum of paid taxes.
The biggest payers of obligatory social insurance payments in the state are LDz, Latvenergo, Rigas Satiksme Ltd, Lattelecom and JSC Latvijas Pasts. Obligatory social insurance payments of these companies reached 43,3 mln. Ls, which is 5,6 % of total sum of incomes from payments.
The biggest payers of citizen income taxes in 2005 are LDz, Latvenergo, JSC Rigas Satiksme, JSC Parex Banka and Lattelecom. Total amount of citizen income taxes paid by these companies in 2005 reached 28,3 mln. Ls, which is 5,6 % of all incomes from the tax payments.
